This April, the Seventh Grade Class will be heading to DaySpring Center for a whole day of ADVENTURE! Located in the woods of Parrish, Florida, the class will take a bus from BSCS to DaySpring where two Pathfinder Outdoor Education facilitators will lead us in three different classes—a low ropes course, a high ropes course, and a night hike. Pathfinder Outdoor Education is a non-profit organization that helps youth create more positive communities. They do this through exciting hands-on classes focused on respect for self and others, cooperative problem-solving, active listening, building trust, and developing empathy. We’ll end the day gathered around a campfire roasting marshmallows and having a sing-along under the stars before heading back to BSCS.
